Diani Palm Hotel

The Diani Palm is a small hotel, bedrooms are very comfortable each with a television, the bathroom comprises of a toilet and shower.

Breakfast is very good, starting with fruit juice, a selection of fruits, followed by a choice of bacon, sausage, eggs, toast tea and coffee. The evening meal is usually served buffet style with four courses to choose from.

Overall it is a very nice hotel, clean with very pleasant staff.

In the evening just a five minute walk along the road and you will reach Southern Palms Hotel, here in the evening they have entertainment, and a live band on a Saturday and sometimes a Wednesday. Throughout the day you can use the facilities in Southern Palms, there is a small charge, this entitles you to use the hotel facilities, i.e. beds, towels, swimming pool, games rooms, and fitness centre. They have a very nice gym with badminton and squash courts.

You can visit most of the hotels on the coast in the evening free of charge, either to eat or to watch the cabarets (the only exception being the few 'all inclusive' hotels). If you do decide to visit another hotel take a taxi, they charge around £2/£3 and will take you wherever you wish, you can even arrange for them to pick you up later. It is however worth noting that it is sometimes wiser to pay for the taxi after the return journey if the driver is in agreement, as they sometimes forget to return.

It should be noted rates change from high to low season.

Paradise Apartments

These apartments are new, they are in a very good location within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Apartments are individually designed, the above accommodation is suitable for 2 people. There are larger apartments to sleep 4-8 people.

There is a small restaurant on the complex if you decide you do not wish to cook.

A small swimming pool and deckchairs are also available.

These apartments are worth looking at, the rates change from low to high season but a quotation can be obtained upon request.
